Billing and Operations Analyst – Los Angeles California

Our Los Angeles, CA client is seeking a Billing and Operations Analyst to work with their Billing and Operations team supporting the billing of customers, setting up new customer accounts, modifying existing accounts and working through accounts on outstanding receivables.  This is a 3-5 month contract opportunity.

Main Duties will include utilizing SAP for the following:
Create Customer Master for new accounts / Processing of new accounts and renewals
Process pricing corrections and/or updates for customers
Process annual renewals by credit card
Change payment terms or payment methods (credit card, direct debit, check)
Answer basic billing questions  via phone and email
Correct billing errors via issue voucher and/or credit memo
Generate list of outstanding receivables and help team work through accounts on list

Qualifications:
Three to Five years experience working in billing
Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel
Minimum 3 years related experience.
Proficient computer software skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
HS diploma/GED or equivalent.

Accountant – Deltek – Arlington Texas

Our client in Arlington, TX is seeking a Deltek Accounting professional.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Organize all relevant and current data into Deltek Vision 6.2 to perform complete utilization of Deltek into Accounting functions.
Establish all reports with required parameters and schedules for email delivery of reports.
Setup automatic alerts.
Establish all accounting (to enter all costs and receivables) into Deltek to automatically track Project status and create Invoices.
Configure and Use Billing and Payroll module.
Support accounting team in entering, verifying and tallying expense reports to support reimbursements and invoicing functions.
Support customer calls and questions/responses on invoices.
Deliverables
Weekly AP/AR reports, timesheets/expense reports/reimbursements processing
Twice a month Payroll processing
Invoice submissions for all major customers, will be in support with other Accounting teams

Position Requirements:
4-6 Years of Deltek Vision Functional Experience
Strong understanding of Accounting functions
Preferable experience with Governmental Contract Accounting Procedures
High proficiency with Deltek Vision Payroll, AP/AR and Billing Module
Very strong analytical and numerical skills
Proficiency with Deltek Vision Reporting tools
Ability to communicate effectively (written, reading, speaking)
Ability to prioritize assignments concurrently to complete tasks
Organizational skills and ability to write reports and interface with customer
Basic Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Ability to clear criminal background check to work in government facility (Optional)

Training Coordinator – Beaumont Texas

Our Beaumont, TX client is in need of a Training Coordinator for their office.

Responsible for the following:
Start the initial process of the company orientation with all new Hires/Existing Personnel
Begin an assessment of what the candidate needs in regards to OQ (Performance Evaluations in the field or in yard)
Assessment to be Proctors for OQ Testing
Refer and suggest Performance Evaluations to the Safety Department
Schedule Specific Training for personnel
They will assess the candidate to see what training they need vs. what they have and report to Management of what training they will need to comply with and schedule them accordingly.
They will be responsible to submit all OQ Performance Evaluations from the Safety Department
Communicate with Safety & Training (S&T) Admin to update the training database
Follow-Ups with Specific training needs such as DOW, Explorer, etc.
Print Training Cards with the training certification
Do onsite training assessment in Forklift, Man-Lift, and Overhead Crane Certification and assist with Excavation Certification
File all respective training documentation for OQ and Performance Evaluations
Other responsibilities that may interact with Safety and OQ
Present material in a class room setting

Interaction with other Departments:
The department interaction these training coordinators will be with Area Managers, S&T Admin, Safety, Training and HR-Generalist
They will eventually be part of ongoing training to get to the next level and start training in other areas as their performance and responsibilities increase.

Must have NCCER certifications
Must have experience with Veriforce
Must have a TWIC card and have majority of the basic safety council completed
Must have CPR instructor cert
Pipeline experience is a must!

EHS Coordinator – El Paso Texas

Our El Paso, TX client has a need for 1 – 2 EHS Coordinators for a Direct Hire opportunity.

Job Summary:
The EHS Coordinator identifies, eliminates and controls hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage using Company’s EHS standards, best practices and analytical techniques.

Primary Job Function:
Plan and execute the site EHS function requirements.
Conduct daily site EHS meetings.
Implement preventive measures and recommend improvement on any unsafe conditions, materials and equipment.
Perform job site analysis, determine employee exposure, and institute safe work procedures.
Conduct daily EHS inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct accident investigations and facilitate the return to work program.
Manage daily activities regarding injury management and Workers Compensation issues.
Administrate the Company Substance Abuse Program, including drug and alcohol testing.
Maintain all site required documentation related to EHS issues, i.e. accident reports, inspection reports, training logs.
Conduct EHS training sessions for employees and supervisors.
Cooperate with sub-contractors on the work progress and monitor their EHS related functions.
Investigate ALL incidents and near misses, including recommendations for future prevention and methods of mitigation.
Participate in all Root Cause or similar Investigations.
Ensure Compliance with applicable OSHA, PHMSA, FMCSA, EPA, TCEQ, Federal, State, and Local Requirements.
Ensure Compliance with and assist in the development of Temporary Traffic Control Plans and Procedures.
Work with project personnel in a professional and mature manner in order to maintain the integrity of the Company and relationships formed therein.

Experience:
3-10 years of construction EHS related experience.
Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 standards.

Education/Training:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in EHS related field.
First Aid, CPR, OSHA 500 certification.

Competencies:
Analyzes problems and makes sounds decisions in a timely manner based on Company’s EHS standards.
Utilizes organizational skills with good attention to detail and emphasis on quality.
Displays good written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
Displays tactful, mature and professional demeanor with good interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personnel, vendors and medical professionals.
Physical demands require ability to endure frequent physical activity, work long days and handle outdoor elements including a variety of weather conditions.

Requires frequent travel.
Complies with Company’s policies and procedures.
Complies with Company’s Drug & Alcohol Policy maintaining favorable drug testing results throughout employment.
Performs job safely with respect to others, property and individual safety.

Bookkeeper – Plano Texas

Our Plano, TX client is looking for a part-time (20-32 hours/week) Bookkeeper to join their team on a contract to possible hire basis.

Responsibilities:
Maintain books for several local clients and accounts
Process A/R and billing
Handle A/P and calculate expenses
Calculate out sales tax and commissions
Interface with CPA to make sure all billing is correct
Data entry into QuickBooks and creation of spreadsheets in Excel
Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
3+ years of Bookkeeping experience required, experience in a small to mid size company preferred
Audit experience a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and QuickBooks, and willingness to learn new programs
Must be very detail oriented

Accountant – Houston Texas

Our Houston, TX client, located in the Medical Center, is in need of an Accountant for a 3 to 4 week assignment.

Job Responsibilities:
Processes accounts payable invoices and reconciles accounts.

Duties:
Maintains and completes the payment/reimbursement of purchases
Sorts incoming invoices by appropriate department
Ensures products and/or services were received and obtains sign off for payments
Assigns invoices to appropriate expense account and enters invoices into the accounting system
Reconciles payment and account information and sends for review
Examines a variety of accounting documents to verify accuracy of computations and to ascertain that all transactions are properly recorded
Prepares weekly payments, prints checks, matches checks to invoices, and ensures timely delivery of payments
Prepares accounts payable reports and obtains appropriate approvals
Generates general ledger report documenting salaries and expenses
Maintains records of paid invoices and all documents associated with orders
Prepares standard financial reports for grants, contracts, audits, etc. Manages the petty cash account
Receives and processes requests for purchases
Generates purchase orders
Contacts vendors to obtain bids for services
Communicates with vendors regarding any discrepancies associated with orders and payments
Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors
Maintains records of vendor information and prices
Prints purchase orders, reviews for accuracy, and sends to vendors
Collaborates with members of other departments to ensure client needs are met
needed
Identifies ways to more effectively provide healthcare information to clients
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
College degree in business administration or accounting plus a minimum of two years relevant work experience.
Must have experience working with Solomon and strong Excel skills!
